As a Maintenance First Line Manager, you lead a team of technicians, engineers and subcontractors within our state-of-the-art Distribution Center. You ensure the reliability of our automated systems—especially our ASRS—and keep operations running smoothly. Together with the Head of Maintenance & Facility, you drive innovation, improvement and a strong safety culture across the entire site.
Your Role
In this critical position, you are the driving force behind system reliability and smooth technical operations. You will:
- Lead daily maintenance activities, ensuring all preventive and corrective work is carried out safely, efficiently and on schedule.
- Support operators, technicians and subcontractors with troubleshooting and technical problem‑solving.
- Motivate, guide and coach your team, promoting open communication and strong teamwork.
- Take part in scheduled maintenance activities such as overhauls, upgrades and improvement projects.
- Develop the skills and careers of your team members within VF.
- Manage spare parts and resources efficiently to ensure reliability and strong site performance.
- Prepare work permits and coordinate subcontractors during maintenance activities.
- Ensure accurate administrative follow-up of all technical work and report updates to the Maintenance & Facility Manager.
- Create clear procedures, instructions, manuals and dashboards that support daily operations and track team performance.

Qui cherchons-nous ?
Must haves
- Experience in a maintenance role with exposure to mechanical and/or electrical systems
- Strong communication skills with the ability to lead, guide and motivate a team
- A pragmatic, solution‑oriented mindset with troubleshooting experience
- Ability to work safely, including at heights (up to approx. 25m)
- Willingness to work in shifts (Mon–Thu: 6–14 / 14–22, Fri: 6–13 / 13–20)
Nice to have
- Experience with automated systems (ASRS) or large‑scale machinery
- Knowledge of PCS7, TIA Portal, Siemens S7 or similar systems
- Ability to make minor PLC adjustments or perform diagnostics
- A degree or qualification in Electromechanics, Automation or a related field
