Greenkeeper for SK Lommel

Konvert Lommel is looking for a motivated groundskeeper to help maintain the professional football pitches of Lommel's largest football club. You’ll work in a unique, dynamic sports environment where no two days are the same.

🛠 Your Responsibilities

As a groundskeeper, you’ll work closely with the Head Groundsman and a team of greenkeepers. Together, you’ll ensure the football fields are always in top condition – before and after every training session or match.

Your tasks will include:

• Maintaining both match and training pitches at the SK Lommel site

• Mowing, overseeding, sanding, fertilizing, marking, verticutting, and repairing grass surfaces

• Preparing the fields before games and restoring them afterwards

• Performing minor maintenance and repairs on groundskeeping equipment

• Supporting field setup and small-scale infrastructure projects

• Clearing and processing garden waste

• You are flexible and available for occasional weekend work (depending on the match schedule)

• You’re motivated, eager to learn, and hands-on

• You’re a team player, but can also work independently

• You enjoy working outdoors in all weather conditions

• A background or education in landscaping, agriculture, or groundskeeping is a plus – but not required. Enthusiasm and willingness to learn are what matter most!
