About the job
We are looking for a garment worker for a company in Gullegem.
In this department, sun protection fabrics are cut and finished, specially tailored to the customer's requirements.
Several steps must be completed to arrive at the final product.
The fabric manager must pick the correct colour and deliver it to colleagues.
In the next step, the fabrics are cut to size.
Then they go to the seamstress, who neatly hems and finishes everything.
In the final step, the fabric is neatly rolled up on a metal tube and a motor is installed.
These rolled-up fabrics are then later installed in the sun protection system by colleagues from the assembly department.
As you can see, this is not a one-man job, but rather a team effort to deliver a high-quality product.
Who are we looking for?
- Good knowledge of Dutch, French or English
- You can work with a computer to register items
- Able to perform physical work
- Handy, able to work with hand tools
- During the busy high season from March to July, you can work between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m.
What do we offer?
- Full-time day work
- Minimum wage of €16/hour
- Extra (overtime) hours, including some at 150%
- Meal voucher worth €6.91/day
- After a successful temporary period, you will have the opportunity to secure a permanent contract
