About the job
We are looking for a packer for a company in Gullegem.
The goods are large, long and heavy and must be packed individually.
After inspection, the finished products are brought from production to your packing table.
Before packing, you perform a visual inspection to ensure that the customer receives an undamaged product.
You will use protective film and cardboard for packaging.
And to seal it correctly, you will use staples and straps.
You will finish by applying the correct label with codes in the right place so that the customer can receive their delivery on time and at the right place.
Afterwards, it will be sent to the nearby warehouse from where the goods will be shipped to the customer.
At the end of the working day, you ensure a clean and tidy working environment.
We are therefore looking for someone who can do physical work.
To ensure that everything runs smoothly, you will be assisted by a fellow packer.
Who are we looking for?
- good knowledge of Dutch, French or English
- no physical complaints
- you can demonstrate initial, relevant experience as a packer or in production
What do we offer?
- wage of €16.03/hour
- extra overtime during the busy high season from April to July
- meal voucher worth €6.91/day
- possibility of a permanent contract after a successful temporary period
