About the job
We are looking for a production worker for the paint shop department of a company in Wevelgem.
In this department, aluminium profiles are painted/coated in a special colour at the customer's request.
To support the powder coaters, we are building a team of employees in the paint shop.
Together with other colleagues, you will help hang the colourless aluminium profiles on racks.
These can be small or large and long profiles, which you will then process in pairs.
The racks are then transported to the powder coater by means of a carousel, after which they go through the oven.
Once cooled, you will work with the team to remove the profiles from the racks.
In the meantime, you will also perform a visual inspection to check that the coating has been applied correctly.
Of course, you will also help to keep your working environment clean.
To perform all these tasks correctly, we are looking for candidates who are handy and can work quickly with hand tools, such as a vice.
Who are we looking for?
- good knowledge of Dutch, French or English
- ability to perform physical work
- ability/willingness to work in a warm environment
- experience in a paint shop department is a big plus
- ability to work during the day and in two shifts during the busy high season from March to July
