Starting July 1, 2026, flexi-jobs will also be permitted in the construction sector. This applies to PC 124 (construction workers) as well as related construction sectors.
Specifically, this means:
PC 124 applies only to retired construction workers, who are permitted to perform flexi-jobs in all roles.
Other flexi-job holders will only be permitted in Construct roles that do not require basic safety training: administration, warehouses, logistics roles, workshops, etc.

What counts toward that employment:
periods of illness
work-related accidents
maternity leave
temporary unemployment under contract
What does not count:
flexi-job work
seasonal work
parental leave

Employee with a statutory pension?
May start working immediately.
Employee retiring soon?
May start immediately if they have worked at least 4/5 of the time; otherwise, they must wait one quarter.
Employee aged 66 or with a 45-year career?
May earn additional income without restriction.
Employee younger than 66?
Income limits depend on the individual’s personal situation. If the limits are exceeded, the pension will be reduced.
