Student warehouse operations at Katoen Natie

Still on the look-out for a student job throughout the school year?

Konvert is in search of motivated students (18+) that will be available throughout the year, from Monday to Friday.

You will be working in orderpickig, packaging or loading. 

For weekdays Monday to Friday you can work one, two,... or a full week, organized in a two shift system. 

Early shift 6h00 - 14h00 and late shift 14h00 - 22h00. 

No personal transportation? No problem: you can make use of the private busses for Katoen Natie departing in Antwerp, Merksem, Beveren, Sint-Niklaas or waterbus (Steenplein, Antwerp).

Departure is one hour before start of the work shift. 

As student we are expecting you to:

• be able to work as a legitimate student, this means full time course or at least 17 hours per week (providable proof)
• be available one or multiple days from Monday to Friday a week in shifts early and/or late (6h00 - 14h00 and 14h0 - 22h00)

As student with Katoen Natie: 

• you have a flexible student job, working when it's possible according to your schedule
• wage is indicated at 12,33/hour including shift bonus, additional meal cheques
• option to continue working throughout the year

In order to be able to employ you as a student, we need an official certificate of enrolment for the current school or academic year. This is an obligation mentioned in the administrative instructions of the NSSO. You don't have this in your possession yet? No problem. Just ask your educational institute for them and add them to your enrolment at a later date. Take a look at the website of your educational institution, often you can download the document online. Which enrolment certificates are eligible?

• Complete curriculum studies (secondary or higher education/university)

• Alternate learning program, theory + practical traineeship

• Part-time studies – theory only without practical traineeship

• Independent learning – diploma via examination board

• Finishing a thesis

• Possibly adult education if main activity

This gross hourly wage is based on the sectoral gross wage of an 18-year old on the date of the vacancy. No rights or obligations can be derived from this information. The actual gross hourly wage awarded may therefore deviate.
