Function

For an international and industrial company, we are looking for a Quality Assistant in the Quality department. 

Main Responsibilities:

  • You are responsible for compiling compliance dossiers related to machinery regulation
  • You are responsible for gathering, verifying, organizing, filing multiple documents and distributing them to customers and suppliers according to current regulations and Mayekawa policies
  • You assist and collaborate in the collection, creation, update and archive of Standard Operations Procedures, Work Instructions, Manuals, Forms, Reports and other documents
  • You assist and collaborate with varied quality related activities like testing, reporting non-conformities, measuring, data gathering, instrument calibration, claiming incompliances, inspecting and controlling quality
  • You give support to the team

Your profile

  • You have a bachelor degree preferably in a technical area, ideally mechanical, chemical or industrial related
  • You have understanding of the importance of Standard Operating Procedures, Policies and systems
  • You have a previous experience in an international and technical environment/industry or position
  • A first experience with or understanding of QA/QC and ISO principles is a plus
  • A previous experience with ERP systems is a plus
  • You are flexible, focussed on quality with strong attention to detail and organized
  • You can work with agreed deadlines in critical situations
  • You are a positive team player but also able to work independently on behalf of the team
  • You feel comfortable in a multicultural and fast changing environment
  • You have very good knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • You are very fluent in English. Knowledge of French, Dutch, German, or other languages is a plus
