Katoennatie Gent and Konvert Interim is urgently looking for forkliftdrivers. And we are organizing a jobday for you to get to know the company and to test your skills. You do not need to have a forklift certificate. You will be tested on site and if your test is positive, there is a possibility to start the next week. 

As a forklift-/reachtruckdriver you'll have to do different kind of jobs. Therefor it's important that you can easily swith between them. - Receiving - Moving the goods around the warehouse with the forklift and the reachtruck (putaway, loading and unloading of the trucks)

Your profile

• You've got experience in the warehouse and can drive the reachtruck and forklift.
• You're flexible and can easily switch between different tasks.
• You now your way around a computer.
• You've got a technical insight.
• You speak English.
• You're able to work in 2 shifts (Early shift: 6 - 14h, Late shift: 14 - 22h)
• You're motivated, trustworthy and safety is very important to you.
• You've got a good workmentality and you know how to handle things.
• You strive to be the best of you and make sure that you're quality conscious.

A certificate/license of the reachtruck/forklift is not necessary - a good daily experience is.

There will be a theoretical and practical test in advance before you can start working at Katoen Natie.

What do we offer?

• Starting pay: 13.90€/h and 6,5 euro meal voucher everyday. Your travel costs will be reimbursed.

• De opvolggegevens registreren en aan de betrokken dienst bezorgen
• De machine voor goederenbehandeling selecteren en voorbereiden volgens de kenmerken van de producten en de omstandigheden
• De toestand van de ladingen controleren en afwijkingen identificeren Afwijkingen aan de betrokken dienst melden
• De toestand van de onderdelen en uitrusting controleren Eerstelijnsonderhoud uitvoeren
• Ladingen over verschillende posten van de locatie verdelen (productieketen, "picking"-zone, ...)
• Goederen in opslagzones plaatsen
• Goederen laden en lossen overeenkomstig de ophaal- of leveringseisen
