Function

Konvert is looking for a machine operator for the sawing machine of a company specialised in machine construction and stainless steel constructions. Based on a plan, you will saw the metal pieces with the workbench to the desired dimensions. This concerns pieces of machinery, metal stairs, etc.

Your profile

• You speak Dutch, French or English
• You have had a technical education (TSO/BSO metal or mechanics) OR you already have experience with a sawing machine
• You can read plans

What do we offer?

• You work in nice daytime hours from 7.15 a.m. - 4 p.m.
• Starting wage in the metal sector is already quite high (€13,30/h), and negotiable according to experience!
• Supplemented with ecocheques
• Permanent, full-time job
• You will be well trained, working in the workshop in a team of 15 colleagues

• De afgewerkte stukken uitnemen, de kwaliteit controleren en niet-conforme stukken apart houden
• De veiligheidsvoorzieningen van de productie-installaties controleren (werktuigen, montageband, ...)
• Een installatie afstellen of het juiste programma selecteren
• Het werkstuk op de houder plaatsen en de vervorming of versnijding uitvoeren
• Stukken selecteren op maat, vorm, afmeting, ... en de volgorde en verdeling van de vervormings- en snijbewerkingen bepalen
