Function

Konvert is looking for a product manager B2B export in Lievegem.

 

As a product manager B2B Export you have the following tasks:

  • Together with the Marketing Manager you develop and implement the B2B marketing strategy for the export channel.
  • You are in close contact with our main German customer and follow-up closely requests for samples, new products, POS material,….
  • You are responsible for the development, implementation, follow-up and adjustment of the marketing, communication and promotional annual plan and you ensure the realization of the associated objectives.
  • Portfolio management: you monitor the sales, positioning and profitability of the assigned product categories, analyze and make proposals for improvement. Together with the innovation managers, you develop new products and refine existing products to optimally respond to the needs of the customer.
  • In collaboration with the key account manager export and the relevant customer, you work out a plan for the successful marketing of these new products or product renovations.
  • You participate in consultation moments with various departments (Sales, Finance, Production, R&D, ...) in order to receive and/or pass on the necessary information and to follow up projects.
  • You monitor the most recent food trends and try to implement them in your marketing activities.

 

Your profile

  • You obtained a university education, specialization in marketing and/or (digital) communication is an asset.
  • You can look back on a first relevant work experience, preferably in a marketing position within the food industry. B2B experience is a plus.
  • You are analytical and like to analyze internal and external data with the aim of making better decisions.
  • You have a good knowledge of the current digital communication channels and you like to try out new digital tools.
  • You are not afraid to write your own text every now and then (blog post, social media post, newsletter, ...) in Dutch.
  • You have a first experience in working with external agencies
  • You easily make contact with the various stakeholders and thus create a strong support base.
  • You like to follow up a project from A to Z and try to test new ways of working.
  • You can easily integrate in an existing team.
  • You have a hands-on mentality, are entrepreneurial and result driven.
  • You have a mature personality in client relations.
  • You speak Dutch and English fluently. Knowledge of the German language is a plus.
